Sonya Hair Products | Shampoo and conditioner Review *

Hello Dolls, Hope your all well!, So I have got a product review for you today on this shampoo and conditioner set by Forever Living.

"We manufacture and sell dozens of exclusive, beneficial wellness products based on one of nature's purest gifts - aloe vera. Our unique business opportunity compensates people like you for sharing our products with others." - Forever Living !

So I was given the opportunity to try out this product by a distributor of forever Living products and Im so happy to review it because the shampoo and conditioner really does do what is advertised on the bottle. In order to make sure I was really familiarised with the products I stopped using my usual shampoos and I used the Sonya Hydrate shampoo and conditioner for about 3 weeks (twice a week conditioning and Once a week Washing).

Soooo what did I think ?

I used the two products on my weave because I had my weave in at the time. and I LOVED IT! the hair smells Fresh all day and was well moisturised and controlled. It's got Aloe Juice in it which I really like as the more natural a product is to me the more likely I am to like and purchase it in the future. You can buy the products clicking > here and see the "Quick Note below" on how to get discounts on your purchases and Complimentary Gifts.

Lupita Nyong'o | 5 interesting Facts

Lupita Nyong'o is quickly becoming a household name all around the world. This is mainly due to her phenomenal performance as Patsey in Steve McQueen's Sensational 12 years a Slave and her amazing Outfits that stand out on Red Carpets across the Globe. she is essentially the new "IT Girl" Of hollywood.
I first Encountered Lupita as "Ayira" In an African Soap Opera called Shuga in which she played an ambitious party girl who was struggling to make it in life for her family. This was prior to her role in 12 years a slave, so you could have imagined my surprise as I spotted a character I had become so fascinated by as I watched 12 years a slave.

So who is Lupita Nyong'o ?

  • Lupita (30) was born in Mexico (Hence her Mexican name) and raised in Kenya, Although Lupita was sent back to Mexico at the age of 16 to learn spanish.
She speaks of her bi-cultural upbringing
"it's gotten me into a lot of trouble: Kenyans want to claim me and, now, Mexicans do, too."

  • Lupita studied "Film and Theatre" at the Hampshire College.

Lupita Speaks of Ralph Fiennes, "When I told him that I wanted to be an actor, he sighed heavily and said, 'Lupita, if there's anything else you want to do in your life, do that. Only act if you can't live without it,'.

  • Lupita got the first Role she auditioned for after graduating from the Yale school of Drama (12 years a slave),  she beat 1000 other Actresses for the role of Patsey.
  • Lupita found it hard to Admit to herself and her parents that she wanted to be an actress, although she realised if she never did it one day she'd be 60 and regretful that she never took the bold step.
  • Lupita is the current Face of Miu Miu 2014, alongside Elle Fanning and Elizabeth Olsen.
With a long list of nominations Lupita has already picked up the Screen Actors' guild awards for her supporting role in 12 years a slave and is also nominated for an Oscar too and I wish her the best of luck on the 2nd of march 2014.

That's it for now dolls !

Wet N Wild "MEGA LAST LIP COLOR" | Review + Swatches ♥︎

Mauve Outta here // €2.99
Cherry Bomb // €2.99
Bare It All//  €2.99

Hi Ladies, So 2 weeks ago I had the pleasure of finding out from my Youtube buddy Ellie aka MyMakeUpPerspective that Wet n Wild cosmetics (Which we all hear about so often on Youtube and beauty blogs) had finally come to Ireland. There was so much buzz, everyone from my Makeup artist friends to those that just love makeup where all ready to "Stall it down" to Dunnes Stores who are the official and currently the only stockists of Wet n Wild products.

So What Does Wet N Wild offer the Irish market and where can you buy it?

Wet N Wild currently have Foundations, lipsticks, concealers, mascaras, eyeliners, lip liners nail polishes and many more. Wet N wild products can be bought in all big Dunnes stores in Ireland.
Products listing: Here

I picked up three beautiful lipsticks to review last week. Let me just start off by saying, I'm always very caution about lipsticks that are drugstore, I always think they are cheaply made and really I have that mentality that "If you want quality, you need to spend more", which applies to alot of things in life and Boy ! with Wet N Wild, was I wrong. !

Ok, before i ramble on, so 3 shades, which I like ALOT, Im having a hard time deciding which I like the most Cherry Bomb or Mauve outta here. the lipsticks are great quality, Cherry Bomb Stays on all day and has a Satin finish to it but still manages to have that body lipsticks should have. Mauve outta here is a great lipstick for any skin tone, dark, light, medium. I haven't seen it on any girl/skin-tone it doesn't suit. Bare it all is a beautiful Tan shade lipstick which for dark skin is a good Neutral tone.

- Lead free
- Smooth feel
- Doesn't dry out lips
- Last Hours even after eating on lips (Cherry Bomb)
- Great Affordable price
-Natural Marine plant extracts
-Contains Vitamins A & E

- Contains no SPF for Sun protection
- lipstick cap easily smudges the lipstick so care is needed (when opening/closing) if your a neat freak like me.

Lots of love and kisses xx

Urban Decay Naked 3 palette!

So rumours have been swirling around the bloggersphere for weeks about a possible new Urban Decay Naked pallette and It's so exciting that Urban Decay have confirmed it today. click the link here to see the video where Urban Decay reveal the "Truth" about the Naked 3 palette rumours >>

So I am personally SUPER! excited for this palette as i'm a neutral palette junkie, I almost always only buy neutral palette and I do buy colour palettes but rarely.... Besides, who doesn't love a good smokey eye ???

"Is it just our obsessed selves, or does it seem that multiple shadow pans from Naked 1 and Naked 2 could have been popped into here to create the appearance of a new palette? The shade “Dust” looks a helluva lot like our beloved highlight shade, "Sin," while what we hope reads “Blackheart” looks suspiciously like "Busted." Finally, the typeface below each pan just doesn’t look like the high quality we’re used to seeing from our beloved UD." - Refinery 29

Indeed alot of the shades look alot similar to some shades from 1 and 2 but I don't care, im too much of a Naked palette Junkie to care...loool. Anyways So as of yet theres no announce date, but it's going to be probably early 2014, EEEK looks like 2014 is going to be an exciting year for all the make-up lovers out there. Ill definitely do a review of the Naked 3 when it's out and some make-up looks of course.

Why you should buy Loréal's True Match Foundation !

Hi dolls,So this is a semi-requested post as a reader of mine asked my opinion on the best foundations for oily skin, I was able to tell her about other foundations except loreal's foundation range as I had never tried any of their foundations before. So I popped into Superdrug the other day and I picked up Loreal's True Match Foundation,I've been wearing it ever since because it's AMAZING! On the bottle it says it "Matches Skin colour and texture" and it definitely does that!

I did a whole 8 hour test which I usually do with my foundations and it was definitely not oily in fact it was very, very matte (more matte than my Bobbi Brown for sure) ,which to be honest was very surprising as I have really really oily skin especially around my T-zone.Plus It didnt break me out which is always something im worried about when trying  new foundation.

Prior to this I have never tried a loreal foundation before and I can honestly say I've been left with a good impression after trying out this true match foundation so I wont hesitate when it comes to purchasing Loreal Foundations in the future.

Have any of you dolls tried any loreal foundation ? comment below, id love to know what you think x

- Great coverage
-Cheaply priced
- Really matches skin colour
-goes on smoothly
-long lasting
-very Matte

-Transfers a bit too easily
-Might be 1 shade to light (I go 1 shade darker during the summer)
